    It may look like a Tomcat, but it actually isn't. It's more a concept of what a stealth plane designed like an F-14 would look like.

    I think it's actually based on Lockheed Martin's concept for the NATF program, which was a short-lived navy counterpart to the ATF program that led to the F-22 (and the YF-23).

    Funnily enough, what I can find for Northrop's submission actually looks almost nothing like their own Tomcat (bearing more resemblance to their YF-23 if it had canards and the wings were moved all the way back). Regardless, both submissions never really made it past the concept stage before the program was canceled in favor of the cheaper F/A-18E/F, and eventually the naval version of the JSF, now the F-35C

    Now, as to how to properly tag this, I'm not entirely sure. F-14 Tomcat is definitely wrong (it's about equally correct to tagging this F-22 Raptor). There's another image of this tagged F-22N Raptor, but I'm pretty sure that designation is fictitious. Navalized F-22, NATF, or Lockheed NATF might work.
