Personally, in hoping they're brave enough to deal with the consequences on the story, instead of just sweeping it under the rug and forgetting she ever existed the day the first season of that anime did to Kisaragi.

Enh, I'm sure they're just going to do the "sunk shipgirls become abyssals, sunk abyssals become shipgirls" thing to the hilt, and have literally everyone they could cram into the cast use the Power of Friendship (again) to turn Fubuki (plus maybe Kisaragi) back as the climax of the next season.
