Umm... for Namaiki（生意気）, I think 'cheeky' would be closer than cocky?

Changed it. It did pass my mind, but I was more dissatisfied with the expression itself so choice of word mattered little.

The first thing that came to my mind is 'How cheeky (kuma)' or something like that?

That feels more like it, but what I'm rather uncertain about is, "Does Kuma's reaction to Ushio's words make sense in this context? Would people who don't speak Japanese or the subtle cultural differences between countries understand what's going on?"
Call me weird, but I thought it could look like Kuma was actually offended in the last panel if I translated 生意気 too literally. Assuming this isn't the case, I think your idea is better.

Hmm... in my case, seeing Kuma's expression would make it clear that she wasn't serious when she said that and 'how cheeky' can be used as a 'teasing' sometimes, I think?

...but well... going to need an opinion from others for this...
