I say it's about time Mario's hat got a pair of peepers. Honestly, I don't know how something like this hasn't happened yet (in a prominent role) when the Mushroom Kingdom has had eyes on plenty of other things, like hills, the sun, and all of the myriad power-ups Mario could use. Granted, most of that stuff only has those simple | | eyes, but still.

Are way more detailed than the ones some major characters have, like the toads in general.
Nintendo's really milking that HD now they have it and know how to work with it.
