Ugh please don't bring that negativity over here. I have had enough of it in the FGO subreddit and other related forums after Appmedia released that tierlist.
However, the whole waifu/husbando simulator excuse gets really old. While I do agree that it is and it's why I play the game, but DW should really step up in designing certain servants.
Just for the record, even if MHXA is supposedly "subpar" I'd still roll for her because of Megane.
You know who was the weakest 5* at the start of the game? Waver. He then got a massive buff around halloween 2015. Since then, he sit at the top of the tier list.
Even if you roll a "weak" 5*, be happy you got a 5*. You don't know what the future hold for him/her.
A 5* is good to take. I mean, my first 5* IS Amakusa for crying out loud.

I still await the day Amakusa gets a boost to be a better Ruler servant in GO.
