Reisen's quite pretty, but she's not the level of Kaguya's literally unearthly beauty. Still, she does well enough.

I'm thinking that Reisen just isn't princess-like enough to draw those extra goods the way Kaguya can. This is the same girl who had princes run to the four corners of the world to try and gain her favor. She'd naturally be popular with the shopkeepers.

Do remember that Reisen isn't human, as evident of her rabbit ears. And since it's been known in canon that the human villagers don't like Youkai in general...
In canon, or at least in Forbidden Scrollery manga, Reisen wears a hat to cover up her ears, and her disguise makes her looks like a shady dude who periodicly appears to sell medicines.
