I can guess what happened even though several of the relevant pages aren't translated: Zuikaku-chan got told by Akashi that the box contains stuff that nobody wants anymore, she asked Kaga if she could take some of the stuff from the waste box, Kaga answered yes, and Zuikaku that she could take the fairy that obviously nobody wanted home. Now in this page's last panel, Akashi is told by the other two fairies that there's a missing fairy (i.e. the one Zuikaku surreptiously took home).

This whole misunderstanding could've been avoided if Zuikaku had said "fairy" instead of "thing".

I'd say she's a 601 Air 52C Zero fairy, but then, her hair is too long.

Post-translation addendum to previous comment: So it transpires that I was only wrong on what Kaga had told Zuikaku... and underestimated the importance of the fairy that got taken by Zuikaku. Oh crap, out of all the fairies that had to be in this situation, it's the team leader for the workshop's fairies!
