A summary of the video
The video is 1m00s long and features a zoo worker and Saana, a female shoebill. The video does *not* show the shoebill pecking the worker's cheek like in this picture.The video shows the following:
- 0m00s - A zoo worker walks in. We only see his back the entire time. The shoebill is behind him.
- 0m03s - Shoebill turning to the worker. She bows to the worker a few times, shaking her head as she bows.
- 0m17s - Shoebill walks so that she is in front of the worker to his right and bows more.
- 0m27s - Worker sidesteps right and rubs against shoebill's face. Shoebill moves head back, opening beak slightly before moving head back toward worker and closing beak. (Was the Shoebill nipping at the worker?)
- 0m36s - Bows and shakes head again.
- 0m40s - Worker pets shoebill on head! Then moves to rub neck. The shoebill seems to peck lightly toward the worker. Throughout the video you can here cameras snapping. There is a large increase of snapping at this point.
- 0m52s - Worker leaves
