Can't have a Zounose manga without eating people.

The fact that this is pretty much straight gag material interspersed with casual cannibalism is somehow even more disturbing than when cannibalism is treated seriously, like that last one with Aya and the girl that "hated the wind".

Is it even cannibalism when the ones eating are not the same species as the body? Remember, Momiji is a wolf tengu and the others are gods...

Anthrophagy, then. I think the fact you can talk to her and that she looks human is the disturbing part for a casual Zounose reader who stumbled into one of these stories. They're superficially do similar... yet not.

The first time i read this one, it was pretty much disturbing (First time seeing touhou guro if we look for a example), but now after reading even more and looking back at the Youkais in history, it doesn't look disturbing anymore, it's more about feral instincts, nearly has suwako said, Youkais eat humans and humans kill youkais, either that is a reality in Zuonose's Gensokyo (A pretty disturbing but true one) or i'm practically talking nonsense over here.

Anyways, i still find the history pretty good and the drawing is awesome

In any case, a tower of firewood was built up.
Didn't you bring us here by force!?
    Um...
You mean potatoes, right? It's potatoes we're roasting, right!?
They're absolutely godlike when it comes to roasting.
Growing potatoes is a lot of work, though?
    Apologize! Apologize to the farmers!
The remains were placed on top and the roasting began.
    *ta-daaaah!*
Speaking of which, the autumn gods were kind enough to come.
People, potatoes, they all sprout up on their own.
