Personally spray on tans look bad to me (although it is very popular in the west coast of the US).
It's hit and miss for the spray tans. If it's done professionally, it can actually look pretty slick. If done slapdash it makes you look like a potato chip.

No. No it is not. As someone who spent his entire life in Southern Califronia i can tell you i have never seen anyone with a spray on tan. (One or two honestly but they were ridiculed into stopping)

Bay area must be different then. Although I was pretty certain the last time I went to LA (about 3-5 years ago) I saw quite a few fake tans. Even in central CA I saw some, but like only a handful.

Must be hella different. Just living in SoCal for a few years will pretty much guarantee you'll get a tan of some sort eventually.

I lived all 30 of my years an hour outside LA. You dont see orange people here. You do however see alot of cholas with drawn on eyebrows.
