Because the game was stacked against Akira he has restarted so many times the world was warped more and more because he became more and more part of the cognitive world to the point he is half cognitive at all times. Naturally this effects his closest friends the most. In the run-through I am writing (over 120,000th try) every male persona user is a girl. Haven't decided if any other social links will be genderswapped. Maybe Iwai...
For reference between all 4 of his adventures Yuu Narukami did around 20,000 cycles. Makoto Yuki and Kotone Yuki (they are twins in my story) only repeated their cycle around 2,000 times before they decided to sacrifice themselves to protect everyone else... P3 is just really depressing... I still haven't finished it... I am going off the manga and movies for that one...
