    So does the manufacture of pizza in Chicago on an industrial scale a representation of the political machine that's operated there since the 1800s? Its import from Italy is then the subtle gains from war profiteering.

    Then what does the mcflurry represent?

    Eh, pizza wasn't imported to Chicago from Italy, it was imported from New York. :)
