Anyone able to ID that fighter that looks like an F4 with the stairs to the cockpit? Is that a Mitsubishi F1 or similar

That sounds about right. The JASDF use brown woodland camo for their Mitsubishi F-1s.

The grey one with rounded air intakes (behind the brown camo F-1) looks like a different model, though.

After months of non-stop reading from the first page I could find here, I finally reached the current one, haha.. ha. h..

That looks like an F-104 Starfighter - the intake cowling is a classic.

Filled in a couple. The biplane looks like a Nieuport-Delage NiD.29, which in the overall context of the picture is peculiar as it then is the only Imperial Japanese Air Force aircraft being displayed. The rest are postwar vintage.
