If you're going for sexy, set it on the beach so they're all in swimsuits. If you're going for cute, make them all kindergartners so you have an excuse for everyone being functionally chibi in every panel and doing silly things.

That's the real problem: "nowadays". It must have been mandatory for every franchise since the beginning of the century.

Well, this is a doujin, isn't it? You might as well complain that Rule 34 exists. Any franchise with enough consumer awareness will eventually attract the attention of an artist that likes this sort of thing, just like there's going to be Touhou crossovers of everything on the radar of any Japanese doujin artist because they all do (or did) Touhou.

and why are we complaining about this?
