He's still a 1 Movement Point character with less than 20 Res and poor speed and no ranged counter to boot, so why would my defense ever matter? I'll spend far more of my time worrying about the actual threat that is the Brave Ike standing next to him.

His sword is confirmed a Distant counter sword. and has 34 speed which is as much as neutral speed Amelia

That's funny, I don't remember it being that when I played it before, but running it again, that's right...

Oh well, he's still easier to one-shot than those tempest Hectors, so it never mattered, whereas Brave Ike is made of absolute GAME-BREAKING BULLSHIT and is basically immune to A) physical damage, B) brave weapons or any character that uses speed, C) nullifies boosts on any sort of horse or flyer, and D) anything that isn't red.

Even using ruby swords isn't enough against Brave Ike, you pretty much HAVE to use at least two magic users (or give Lilina triangle adept) to drop him.
