    Wikipedia states:

While participating in war game maneuvers in 1935 the Fourth Fleet became caught in extremely foul weather. The weather continued to deteriorate and by 26 September had reached typhoon status. Two of the newer, large Special Type destroyers, the Hatsuyuki and the Yugiri, had their bows torn away by the heavy seas. A number of recently built heavy cruisers also suffered significant structural damage. The Myoko, the Mogami and the submarine tender Taigei developed serious cracks in their hulls, and the light aircraft-carriers Hōshō and Ryujo suffered damage to their flight decks and superstructure, with the Ryujo also having her hangar section flooded. The minelayer Itsukushima suffered damage that required several months for extensive repairs, necessitating a near complete rebuild. Nearly all the fleet's destroyers suffered damage to their superstructures, and fifty-four crewmen were lost, swept overboard or killed outright.[1]

After signing Washington Naval Treaty&London Naval Treaty Japanese warship tonnage was limited, this of course frustrated IJN and they went to various ways to circumvent treaty limitations/mash in as much firepower as possible to their vessels, the end result of this was that their ships were rather top heavy. This led to Japanese ships of that era having various stability problems (torpedo boats capsizing in foul weather, Mogami's hull warping during her trials, etc.) but the shit doesn't really hit the fan until the September of 1935 when during a war game 4th fleet sails into a storm. During this storm Hoshou & Ryujouu suffer damage to their superstructure & flight decks, Myokou suffers flooding after rivets along her midship are loosened by the storm, Momagi's & Mikuma's hulls distort during the storm, Taigei develops cracks in her hull, Itsukushima's hull is heavily damaged by the storm, the destroyers fare even worse than that; couple of Fubukis apparently almost capsize during the storm, Mutsuki's & Mochizuki's bridges are heavily damaged by the storm, Yugiri & Hatsuyuki lose their bows, Ushio almost has part of her aft torn off by the storm, and other destroyers present also suffer other relatively minor damage (at least when compared to losing the bow section of the ship). In total 54 Japanese sailors are lost during the storm and another 60 suffered injuries because of it.

    The wind is troubled today.

But, this wind, is weeping, just a little bit.

    Let's go.
Looks like this wind has brought something unpleasant to this town.

Let's make haste, before the wind ceases.

    Hey this is seriously bad.
That convenience store over there has half priced potato chips.

Please say I'm not the only one thinking of this reading the tittle.

And what Ido's referring to at the end has to do with how that Yukikaze (then Tan Yang) was scrapped due to extensive Typhoon damage in 1971.

Yukikaze is not Mary Poppins. She's more like Yondu.

I think tagging Taihou in this goes against "tag what you see". All that's visible is a brown shape, there's no way anyone who hadn't read the preceding comic would know that's supposed to be her.

    *ACHOO!*
    *WHOOOOOSH!*
    Yukikaze's dam!
    COMMANDER!
    COMMANDEEEEEER!
    Yu- YUKIKAZEEEEE!
    You need to watch out.
But it's such a nice wind...
    Yukikaze.
    Is that so!
    Get inside!
Did you forget about the 4th Fleet incident!?
    Ah! Get back here, Yukikaze!
    Mary Poppins!
This really the time to say that!?
You gals are in danger, right?
But, just a little... that wind... was crying...
By the way, what's a 'Deef Flagh'!?
Since you've got a few death flags with typhoons,
※After Yukikaze suffered typhoon-related flooding, they said that she was to get scrapped.
