Crowd funding for the Kud Wafter anime finally closed at over 78,000,000 Yen. Had hoped that they would add another 10 mintues to the OVA after hitting another +50% mark but it look like they're still going to make it 40 minutes. I'd guess that means they planned it out before hand to that length of time for telling the game's story but is 40 mintues enough to cover it all? I've never played Kud Wafter though I have heard a few people mention it is a fairly short game.

Now to see if they still go ahead with the western crowd funding they hinted at.

If it's as long as Tomoyo After (which took me 10 hours), it'd still be too long to be condensed into 40 minutes. At least VNDB says it's 10-30 hours.

I think I read on the western funding page some where that it may be 50 minutes from the Japanese funding. There was the possibility of making it an hour if the western funing made 15m yen which sadly didn't happen.
