While that's one possible response, I worry that it starts to become like The X-Files or Lost: A few odd plot threads and events are interesting and lend themselves to speculation. An unending torrent of them that never have payoff leave the viewer numbed to the weirdness as even the author forgets what they were going for (if they ever meant to do anything other than throw out red herrings).
At this point, I'm really having trouble keeping up with all the characters and events and terms being thrown at me. What exactly is the connection between Zerg Mad Max Pirates of the Carribean and King Kong dinosaurs being sent to 18th century Europe through the use of a magic compass and future robots, again? Oh nevermind, there's going to be another plot twist that renders that all irrelevant in another 3 pages, anyway.
So we'll have giant, man-eating, monsters attacking a Renaissance-level population appearing out of no-where. Let me guess, does Kongo and company develop new, gas-powered, rigs for themselves that let them swing through the air Spiderman-like at speeds comparable to Shimakaze so they can attack the monsters with bladed weapons? They can call themselves Recon Corp and wear wing-based insignia :-D
The biota of the Mesozoic period will destroy the ecosystem! The dragons of old will trample Europe! That is our wish!! That is the Dragon Project!!!Dinosaurs... in the 18th century's Europe!?That can't... they won't just stop at Europe! We will open a gigantic gate that connect the 18th century with the Cretaceous period, on the scale of kilometers and years!
