Unlike dupe information, this is not useful to put in a comment. Better mark it with scan_artifacts or another applicable.

I normally use bad_scan for badly scanned images and jpeg_artifact for badly compressed images.

Speaking of low quality scans has anyone suggested an alias for it yet?

Actually, the fuzziness of this image is intentional and does not come from compression, so if you're looking for a better version, you won't find it.

Actually, I like the effect.
