Artist's commentary
I've reconstructed a scene where——years after losing an Admiral whom she loved dearly in a raid, the bloodthirsty and gluttonous ship Akagi gets a proposal of marriage from a young Admiral who inherits his desire. While she is confused, she becomes honest to her own heart and his strong will. They are married and spend their lives together.
