We have an author whose rather infamous for his gory portrayals of cannibalism (or whatever the word is for when a humanoid eats a human being) in a surreal setting where said acts are not only trivialized by the cast, but also encouraged.
He gives us a doujin featuring one character whose already fed a human child to a human in a previous doujin (the doujin where the tengu had Sanae eat a child as part of a ritual) and professes a love of human flesh in another recent doujin where she had raised a human child (said human child committing cannibalism in said doujin).
The other character is part of a race known in their original myths for eating human children, but who canonically is actually very friendly to human children and protects them.
The obvious fan expectation is that the doujin will revolve around Nemuno actually eating the children she 'rescues' or at least Aya eating human children and pinning it on her. Something typically 'dark' and fitting for Zounouse.
So what does he give us? A crack-comedy doujin that completely subverts our expectations and then ends with Nemuno threatening to feed Aya to a human child, reversing how his usual stories go!
