Strange how colour/pixel corruption can make a normally cheerful image look rather unsettling and creepy.

I think it's deliberate, to indicate a misshot photograph.

On Twitter, the full-size image (:orig) is corrupted, but the downscaled-for-viewing version (:large) isn't. Is this on purpose? If so, how'd the artist do it?
