Is Nitori the natural leader of the Kappa mob ? Just wondering. Since most of the Kappa are unnamed.
I think she's just the most outgoing. Apparently the Kappa of Gensokyo are very, very shy and the Humans didn't even realize they existed until Marisa met Nitori. So Nitori most likely is the defacto speaker since she's the "expert" on Humans.
