It's always called a whale. PaD, F/GO, Clash Royale, all of them.
Oh, is that so. I learned that way of saying not long ago as each time someone has an overpowered character (LR character with 100% potential maxed), they say that guy is a whale.
I mean, I'd probably do the same if I had that much money to spend on my own and nothing else. Only if you work for that money you'll spend, will I be fine with excessively unnecessary spending on the gatcha however.

I't a casino term for a high roller gambler who brings alot of income by playing with high stakes and spreads alot of money around by using alot of luxurious services.
Is gambling bourgeois? (Let's not lie to ourselves. Gacha is a form of gambling. We just don't get money unless we sell the account.)
Penny ante craps on a folded-up cardboard box in a back alley sure isn't bourgeois, but blowing through what would have to be enough cards to buy a proletariat-level car sure counts.
Beyond that, among the "minnows" (that is, the anti-whales, the people who don't spend,) it's sort of a game in and of itself to see if you can spend absolutely nothing and still beat the people paying to win. Going an absolute F2P-only route can certainly be cast as the prole route.
Verniy HeadI have to show this off to my Comrade! With a ticket.Wait!
Real Money Transactions aren't really bourgeoisie! Comrade Tiny One!I'm disappointed in you.Wha!?Comrade!!It's here...!!Isn't that just lovely!I'll give it one more shot.Is... is that so...?Gacha?
Wouldn't it be fine, if just a little, to throw some money at it?Yeaaaah... it's not coming out...
I really wanted that character, though...I cannot...
Paid gacha are bourgeois...
