For those not in the know, tattoos are not common in Japan. They are culturally significant in that they are pretty much *ONLY* present on Yakuza, and they have such an ingrained stigmatization together with organized crime that basically nobody who isn't a hardened criminal that's in-for-life would ever get one. Hence, having one is a sign that one is a badass you don't want to fuck with, since it shows they don't give a fuck that they're openly advertising they're criminals.

Which family I wonder. Dojima? Nishikiyama? Either way, I want to see RGG/Yakuza 0's opening cinematics with Houshou as the bar mistress. With young Hiryuu(Kiryuu's role) and Kashima(Majima's role) as the duo protagonists. At the epilogue, Hiryuu would meet Kashima... and as Receive You starts playing, Kashima smirks "Hey there.....Hiryuu-chan!!" (As a matter of fact, there IS a fanart of Majima cosplaying as Kashima.)
