Looking at the artist's most recent Twitter posts, I think that she mentions some things about why she stopped making Touhou doujins, but I'm not sure.

The way I heard it, she originally drew some Kancolle alongside her Touhou stuff, and promptly got so much shit from the Touhou fandom (up to and including death threats) that she decided to leave it.
Can't say I've investigated the matter myself, though.
I can't find any indication of death threats, but she was getting flak from even when she was just drawing Touhou stuff basically because of trolls saying she picked on them (and later on in some cases people telling her to draw or not draw certain pairings, or some perception ). She was busy dealing with this when she started playing Kancolle, which is when she decided to stop making stuff because of haters and some specific people.
But it's more complicated because of her personality, she can rub people the wrong way. (She says she's not completely innocent, like she would escalate conflicts with haters, or how she blocked people for telling her to play Kancolle before she started playing) Though she did get spotlighted and picked on by people who didn't understand what was going on. Anyway, it's hard to find info on this.

This time it was pretty short overall, and I wonder if Futo and Tojiko's important scene got shortened a bit. There's still a bit to go, though.
I had rehabilitation and idle time and all sorts of trouble, but the next book will be the last.
