A somewhat cleaner and more complete version of post #274127. The artifacts are still there, but apparently haven't been compounded by resizing and such... Since we now have an artist, the question would be where has this been uploaded before now?

This is considerably cleaner than the other one. I'm not sure that we'll find a cleaner version though. Unfortunately artists sometimes introduce their own artifacting before they first publish.

it's to prevent others from using the artwork, or claiming it is their own... artists often make the release version of their art work lower-resolution and slightly artifacted...

in all honesty, it's the only way of proving ownership of an image... if you have a high-resolution, high-quality psd file (or some other editor file) then you trump everybody else
