So am I the only person who thinks that this is how Johnston, Hoel, and Sammy B. should be depicted (i.e. absolutely terrified) and that Heerman should be the "rip and tear" one of the bunch? Because when they went down, the survivors believed that they had failed to defend the Philippines, and more than that, that they had single-handedly turned the tide or even lost the war.
