I didn't read many kancolle doujins and most of them were rather lovely dovely stories like kouji ones or similar to them but it's nice to read something more tragic.

If this is the same guy as in this artist's other Kancolle comics, it seems to be pairing him up with Ooi instead of Kongou.

I like to think it is the same Admiral and this story we are seeing is his origins before he became the Admiral.
