    When I first looked at the Lamborghini Reventon, I said to myself, why didn't they pick THIS freakin' car instead of the Ford Mustang for the new series?

    The COST was obviously the main factor in their decision as a single one of these was probably the production budget for several episodes!

    In any case, last night I was staring at this guy and thought, WHY NOT?

    It was fun doing that K.I.T.T. light. I wanted to make it look like it was in motion too. I think it turned out really cool.

    Minor change, but let me know what you guys think.

    I actually once thought about why they went with a muscle car instead of a sports car for the 2008 series, and my Dad pointed out that modern muscle cars, like the Trans-Am, are the "moderately fancy" cars- they're still fancy, but you COULD feasibly own one someday, as opposed to lambos which were the cars that billionaires drove.
    So, it wasn't just about cost for the producers- I mean, that probably wasn't a factor at all because Ford probably sponsored them- it was really mostly about the cost for the viewers.
