Funny part is, the naming scheme isn't just a coincidence. The Chinese researchers who bred it intentionally named it after Hakurei Reimu.

Oh, it'll end there sooner or later. Just look at all of those 'plant/pet booms' and see which lasts more than ten years.

Ten years? Most of them are lucky to make it to two before people get tired of them and move onto the next hot new thing.
