I think Da Vinci can do a bit better than Calvin-based cardboard box technology. She made this child from scratch, in her workshop, with a box of manaprisms!

It takes serious work to make something capable of actually changing appearances look like a cardboard box. (It's even harder than a cardboard tank, and some serious heavy hitters want to shake that guy's hand!)

It's also the maximum trolling way to do things to make a massively complex device that looks like a kid's junk just for the laughs that also serves as a roundabout way to ensure maximum chaos.
