Or even, occasionally, something that is explicitly not an aspect of something or someone, and turning it into a twisted caricature anyway. (Looking at you, artists who make unending "RJ has body image problems" jokes.)

That's because breast envy jokes are the only jokes they know how to do, so they have to force someone to have breast envy if they're going to make doujins!! It's sort of like how doujin circles that only knew how to do clingy lesbian doujins made Youmu a clingy lesbian chasing after Sakuya when they switched to Touhou doujins.
