Mushrooms > Bamboo Shoots

In case anyone's confused, there are different types of chocolate candies in Japan, one shaped like a Mushroom, and the other like a Bamboo Shoot. They're equivalent items, but each side has a group of die-hards who refuse to touch the other. It's a bit like the Coke vs Pepsi debate. Ironically, in this case, they appear to be from the same brand, they're just differently-shaped. Completely meaningless, and yet look what happens.

Since Marisa loves mushrooms, this joke goes obvious places when she gets involved, and it has been done before.

Having had the mushroom choco cookies, I am in the mushroom camp. That being said, the store where I get them doesn't even carry the bamboo, so in this case my bias is pretty much based exclusively on what I can actually get. I count myself lucky to get either of them stateside.
