On the 8th of June, 2018, at about 11am UTC+9, bkub's Twitter account was suspended for seemingly unknown reasons. Folks quickly discovered via the Lumen database that he has received DMCA takedown notices, some on the very day of his suspension, while others a few weeks prior (the latter seemingly from Takeshobo).
Amidst the confusion, and occasionaljokes, most ended up figuring that it was likely these false DMCAs that brought about the suspension, though there were those who suggested that it may have been this tweet from 2017, where he, in a shitposty manner, threatened to kill whoever invented the sporks that the Lawson stores have.
Almost an entire day later, at about 10am UTC+9 on the 9th, bkub's account was unsuspended, and he revealed that it was indeed false DMCA notices on his Guncannon fanart (likely this very post, but possibly also this one too) that caused it. bkub would go on to go to an onsen with Mafia Kajita.
