I understand that it's just a character made for the game, but I feel kind of sad to see Gamby being portrayed as a cowardly cry-baby. Actual ship Gamby fought heroically in a disadvantaged fight even to the very end...

She was also not meant to fight such fights.

Her portrayal makes sense when you consider her fight was a last stand.
