Of course, there always lies the inherent unrealistic style of how people hold weapons in any media, but I've seen similar stances to this one. Notably, such as the one from Little Armory, but is there any advantage to holding a weapon like this? Is there an advantage to lurching your weight forward?

People lurch their weight forward when starting to run to give themselves a little extra momentum, but this is a really exaggerated case.

I'm pretty sure the artist is drawing the character this way because it's an "inhuman" way to move, and therefore makes her look scarier/yanderier. (Adding to this is how short the legs are, making her have an almost gorilla-like profile...) In a similar way, the xenomorphs from Aliens never just walk, because that's too human, and therefore not scary, so they always climb upside-down on the ceiling unless about to spit their jaw out at someone.
