I thought of it too... Though I never encountered the bug.

The moment I read this comic, it reminded me of the Death of Rabaul Server.

Oh and source_code_request. Looks like some sort of UI frontend, but does it ring any bells for anyone?

looks like some simple HTML/javascript code. putting some buttons onto a webpage. the third one is likely a reload button and the other two are too pixelated to make out anything more. pretty generic.

There's a document.createElement, so it's just raw JavaScript/DOM editing code.

No, I was talking to Guardian54, and I was thinking in particular of this video, but I'm sure there were many like it at the time. It was a pretty major fiasco, IIRC.

The first line of Naganami's first bubble was changed: 「へーきーき」 became 「へーきへーき」 The alignment of the rest of the bubble's text was slightly changed as a result.
