... yet why am I imagining Unicorn running past sailors and base personnel as well as the occasional shipgirl to the Admiral's office to report that she was a good girl that results in a headpat, much to the 'd'awwww' of the personnel inside the office?
i can't wait! btw is Bibury a new anime studio? it doesn't seem like they have done a lot of stuff.
Yes, and AL is their first big anime project. It's founder is pretty experienced though. Tenshou, whose most famous works (as director) are: The Fruit of Grisaia, Kin-iro Mosaic, and Rewrite.
And the script writer is Haganeya Jin. He's one of the script writer of Kamen Rider Gaim, and also the creator of Demonbane series.
Ok, since I cannot edit it post it. Some of the ships have been Id'ed and tagged wrong Town-class is actually a Pensacola, Twon never had that heavy tripod mast, and the catapults are visible in the middle (between the smoke stacks). And the ship with GE or Valiant box on top (in blue and white camo), thats Repulse she's wearing the exact same camo she did when her and PoW were sunk in 1941. Also, that's a Illustrious not a Yorktown. Actually I think the ship tagged as Lexington is a Yorktown, yup it might be Big E in "44" her flight deck goes past the stern and her stern is rounded. thou Im not 100% sure that Richelieu looks very South Dakota-ish to me, I cant see the 3rd 16in turret but it might be a SoDak. Yup it is: https://padresteve.files.wordpress.com/2011/01/bb-57-line2.gif Not very well made thou.
The PV wasn't very well made though, you can tell its drawings were pretty rushed.
But my bottom line is extremely low. If they don't kill Hood in episode 3 and have a royal tea party in episode 4, to me that's a successful shipgirl anime.
So long as it doesn't end up like the utter trainwreck that was the Kancolle anime (which happened because they tried to shoehorn everything in and ended up doing everything poorly with a nonsensical plot), I'm happy.

Eh, it was good enough to me, I didn't even notice anything bad with it.

I guess I'm the only one that liked the Kancolle anime and had only a few complaints.
