In spite of all the horror applications of blood, though, blood makes for bad ink or paint. Anone, anone, Platelet-chan makes sure it starts clotting way too fast to be anything but some runny plasma and bits of clots.

There are ways to keep fresh blood from clotting, both naturally and synthetic, and workable for a good bit of time... But I'm not telling.

You could add sodiumcitrate (easy to obtain) or heparin (not so easy) OR you could simply stir the fresh blood with a wooden spoon to catch out the polymerizing fibrin. The last method is used to prevent large amounts of blood from clotting, when you want to make Schwarzsauer, a blood based soup.

But now she had to figure how to stop that bleeding before it's too late(cutting the wrist is the most popular option for people who decided they had it with their life).

Don't worry, she's only going across the street, not down the block.

(Furthermore, holy shit, that comic's STILL GOING?)
