Do you think that Gen "The Urobutcher" hates all his characters, or that he just isn't really capable of writing stories that don't beat down anyone he pays any attention to at all? Sometimes, (not like Kasumi herself,) people project their own internal emotional turmoil onto those they care about in wildly unpredictable ways.

This Ikazuchi's expression and eye shape remind me a lot of Yapo's, minus the...aggression.

Every Zeroyon girl has 'yan' as their default expression. The Admiral too, for that matter.
