The sheer moe of Rika kept her popular for years while Higurashi gradually faded into distant memory. GochiUsa hasn't had a new series in a good while and many newer moe loli characters have come and gone. Chino's moe however still remains just as popular as it has always been.
Not to say there hasn't been very strong challengers, Kanna is amazingly cute and is still popular.
