2) you know you screwed up when the lazy Hatsuyuki is the one to point out that you didn't do something important.

But you are tasting it when you eat it. What they mean is taste something before giving it to someone else.

Thing is, no one ever eat my cooking. lol
That's how it's not turning into disasters. ANd I'm taste-blind, remember?
I even have to add more soy sauce or chili paste and stuff just so I feel some taste in my mouth as I eat something. To the point it's hard to eat even.

Oh, and it's true I don't do taste test. I can just smell to know how good it was for taste.
