What. It's like if the guy who played Aragorn in Peter Jackson's Lord of the Rings threatened everyone else. Is this for real? Did he really do that?
The more accurate analogy would be John Hurt, the voice of Aragorn in 1978 Ralph Bakshi's Lord of the Rings, demands Peter Jackson and Viggo Mortensen apologize for the Jackson LotR films. While also claiming he knows Tolkien the best, of course. It's utterly ridiculous, but sadly, it's for real. Zhang's performance was classic, but the charm of it is slowly and surely wearing thin, thanks to all these absurdly ridiculous narcissistic behaviors. The whole Sixology thing is basically a wild monkey show, pun intended.

I don't follow, but I will say that the '78 film aged more interestingly than the newer movies, which just look like over-actioned crap.
Warning letter from a lawyerAuthor, you should apologize to the whole Gensoukyo.
This is a meme regarding a series of memetic spamposting mocking the hypocritical and arrogant behavior of Chinese actor Zhang Jinlai. Check translation note in previous post for a detailed story.
This line here is a reference to one of the Sixology quotes. Zhang reserves this quote for the "particularly offensive" titles, namely A Chinese Odyssey and Dragon Ball, openly demanding their creators and the portrayers of Sun Wukong apologize for their "crime".
Artistic liberty is not an excuse for misrepresentation, and adaptation is not an excuse for fabrication. You did this, and you are going to openly apologize to every single person in China!
Zhang didn't threaten to sue the creators of the two aforementioned titles as he doesn't hold the rights of Journey to the West, but he did threaten to sue every single Sixology Scholar, and sent lawyer's letters to several of the most active ones.
