Yeah this has some strange relationships seemingly building up. I do wonder if there's a part where Haruhi gropes Kotonoha... though Kaiba might go "NOT SO FAST! You activated my trap card"

Kotonoha will eventually get jealous of all the time Kaiba spends playing a child's card game, and slick his throat while he's sleeping.
