Counting possible gyms from the ones with obvious gym stadium design:
The green one in the middle left side: Perhaps Grass. I'd say Normal otherwise since the area isn't too heavily forested but it is one we saw in the in-game footage as having a leaf-shaped symbol/badge.
The brown one above that: Almost definitely Ground since the area is very rocky and there's the Dugtrio statue/door/tablet something in the town.
Pink one yet above that behind the cave: Most likely Fairy, because of the pink colors and the mushroom. Could conceptually possibly also be Poison but it looks too bright.
Blue one on the middle right side: Most likely water since it's literally built on a port. But since there also had been gyms of other Types on port towns too it could also be something else.
Grey one above in the snowy area: Ice would be the obvious choice, but could also alternatively be Dark or Steel.
Others that could also be "non-standard" designed gyms:
The rose shaped building at the city at the top: Could be a gym or a contest hall. Also could be any Types, maybe Fire or Psychic if I am to guess.
Tower in the middle castle city with the golden dragon head: Could be Dragon gym, it has a battle arena in front of it, which could or could not support the idea.(I mean you'd think the battles would occur inside the building proper for gyms).
The palace with the crown on top in the middle castle city: Also could be a gym, the palace has a dome shape and windows reminiscent of a coliseum so maybe it is a gym, or maybe it is a post-game Battle Tower. It would be weird to have such a gigantic building that you would encounter in the relative early-mid game not have any significance though. If it is a gym it could literally be any Type.
Building inside the purple town in the middle right side: It has the gym style tiles but not the full sized stadium. Could be a gym for Ghost, Psychic, Dark, or Poison.
The church tower in the industrial town: It has a Pokeball symbol on it and the base of the tower looks like a stadium dome. Could be Steel, Fire or Fighting for the Industrial Revolution era theme of the place.
Purple roofed mansion with a large tree growing out of it in the bottom: It's just strange that the lower half section of the map is totally devoid of gyms, as if we're going to have to play 5-6 hours in before we fight the first gym(Pokemon tutorial syndrome strikes again), so I think it is likely there will be a gym closer to the starting town and this just looks like the most likely candidate, but could also very well just be a Trainer School. The types can be anything, Poison, Bug, Psychic, or Normal. Ghost also seems appropriate to the design but I doubt they'll have Ghost be the first gym since it would render almost all of your early game Normal types useless.

Will it just be Poke-Britain or will we see Poke-Ireland too?
The original Pokemon was just the Tokyo area, then they did Osaka, then Hokkaido, (although they did do pretty much all of France in one go) so it makes sense that they would just do Britain, and save Ireland for later.

I am now thinking of getting into a Pokemon battle against an Ork.
