I mean, Incineroar has all the physical attributes of a Fighting-type but it's Fire/Dark I think it's a little too early to call it

Incineroar is a disappointment exactly for being a disguised fighter. At least, to me. I don't wanna a different type only, I wanna a different design/idea. But, hey, that's me.

People used to believe that if you had tape on your nose and it got broken in a fight, it wouldn't be pushed out of shape as badly as if you didn't have the tape. It's not true (at least not to any degree that is actually practical), but boxers used to do it, and it became kind of a visual shorthand for that type of character in, e.g., old-timey cartoons.
(Note that this should not be confused with the things modern athletes often have on their noses, which look like tape, but are actually little stiffened rib things that pull the nostrils open and allow for better airflow.)
