You aren't, it has become instant headcanon that she (and any other Galarian character for that matter) may have some accent, and I think it will stay so even if the actual game had none.

I guess I should stop by the chippy on the way home and get some magikarp and chips for dinner tonight.

The map is clearly flipped 180 degrees vertically, with things roughly arranged from bottom to top in order of impressive-lookingness, hinting that the game will start at the northern end and work its way south. She's wearing a Tam 'O Shanter.

Her accent should be a bit north of Yorkshire.
