I don't think the artist realizes that if you want to maintain ecosystems, hunting is critical to that goal. That and hunter's education avoids unnecessary pain and trauma.

Note that it's a triple rifle (kugeldrilling = lit. "bullet triplet", and bullet ≠shot) though, not a shotty. But yeah, the one in the image does certainly look like a kugeldrilling (from the relative barrel sizes).
(Disclaimer: I have zero personal hands-on experience with these firearms [and virtually none with firearms in general] and am just going with pictures and technical manuals.)
