He already said what was wrong... Bishoujo Barret. Japan just absolutely has to make everyone feminine-looking. And a fishnet shirt is just going overboard. This is what Barret is supposed to look like:
I'm not really seeing that much femininity here compared to Miche's other pictures. If anything, this is not only one of the best fanarts of Barret I've ever seen, but it's also one of the most realistic and accurate when it comes to what an African-American [no point in trying to skirt around that issue] looks like in real life from a Japanese artist. My only complaint is that his lips could be a little _bit_ bigger though, and I'm not talking about blackface-minstrel levels here.
I already fave'd some of Miche's pics here, but just for this one alone he's become one of my favorite artists of all time.
I don't think people were commenting that he looks feminine. I think they were commenting on this look- compared to his original look, which was more like Mr. T and manly. And then there is the AC look, which feels a bit more correct than this.
In this image, his features are smaller; so I agree about the lips. But overall it is a great pic.
